Decolonize

Decolonization to me means transforming the way I see the world and our place in it towards wholeness and awe. It is not a metaphor. It requires specific and tangible measures that undo and repair the harms that have been imposed on Indigenous peoples and marginalized communities. As a white cis woman mother settler, it means working to decentre whiteness and white supremacy, to learn power literacy, to think critically about the systems that uphold inequity and harm, and to actively imagine and design a world that centres care and participation.
